It was high time the new owners did something about the game because if it had continue to stay behind the shadows for a very long time, it wouldn't take long before Marapets overtakes the game.

Gamers always want more from whatever game they are playing which is the reason why developers have to pay attention to what gamers are asking for so they make it possible for them to always be engaged in playing the games.

It’ll be interesting to see what Marapets has planned with their upcoming new worlds/lands, especially if these new lands have new features and games.
Their new weather system is unique and brings a twist into the game.
Neopets isn’t far too behind though lately as they’ve recently updated their battle dome.
Their new update contains two new boosts to your pet's strength and defence stats!
- 750 to 799: attack or block 16 damage per icon (same as before, previously simply 750+)
- 800 and 849: attack or block 17 damage per icon (New)
- 850 or greater: attack or block 18 damage per icon (New)
They’ve also made some strides with their layout by rolling out more pages to their mobile friendly design. such as the Home of the Rich Slorg and the General Store along with the news page.

It can be also fun and engaging. Neopets website is still on top of the chain in as much as they are having competitions from all around the corners.

Neopets have been around for so long that you can't say that you love playing pet site games without playing it over the years unless you're a newbie to pet site games.

The three contemporary virtual pet games I'm attached to are My Singing Monsters, Marapets and Subeta. I should also mention Neopets but it has lost its previous popularity

Neopets haven't lost anything when it comes to its popularity from the statistics of active players.

Neopets has lost some of its popularity from years ago, but it still remains one of the biggest and largest pet sites.
There isn’t a single pet site that is putting up bigger numbers than them, as Neopets is a global powerhouse. They have merchandise in various stores and they’ve averaging 400k+ monthly daily logins. However, other pet sites average about 1k-2k daily logins. It will take a lot for other pet sites to take over Neopets’ popularity in terms of users and becoming a global name.
As it stands, Neopets over 200 millions users where Marapets probably has over 5 million users now. Lioden has over 500k users and Flight Rising may have over 500k users as well, but there may be some mobile pet games like My Talking Tom that have millions of users as well. Subeta has close to 200k users.
However, most pet sites aren’t known as a global brand yet, but it can happen. Especially with a media push or advertising campaign. Neopets also has a habit of launching press releases. Pet sites can do this as well, which can help them get a lot more traction and visibility in the news(media).
Roblox and Fortnite are probably the only two games that take the cake against Neopets. Club Penguin and Moshi Monsters were just as big as Neopets in their prime though.

Is there anything that has made you slow down in playing? I am asking because playing this game is quite fun, and when you go on popular sites such as Neopets, you will have a lot of reasons to keep playing.
