I used to be hooked on YouTube in my spare time, but it just seemed like wasting time. It also had a bad effect on my mental health with death-scrolling topics to following politics too closely, making me feel helpless in a sense because I alone can't make the changes necessary.

Now, I focus my time and energy in the gym.

I don't think I'll ever stack up to 100kg muscle again though, but I hope to break 90 with much lower body fat than I have now. I'm currently at 84kg.

Usually, it's video games or some type of games. But lately I've been learning to code in my free time and trying to do more artwork. I feel better about my free time when I've created something cool I can look back on later.

Great choice! I am a big fan of books. I guess there's just something romantic about a good book or creating my own.

I am actually a reader, though my finding time to read has been awful as of late.

Football and playing video games is my favourite hobby. There are many other ones which I partake in but gaming and football always comes first.

My favourite hobby is gaming. It's a great way to take my mind away from things.
I haven't been doing much gaming at all though these past few months.

Video games are big distraction. Also, the kind of games you play will do well in taking your minds off so many things bothering you.

My favorite hobby is ROM hacking. I enjoy modifying the 8-bit Sonic games, been working on a split disassembly of Sonic Chaos for years now. I don't know if and when I'll ever finish it though.

Photography is one of my favorite hobbies.

You would think I was a professional with as much gear that I have.

Canon 5D MK IV, speedlights, off-camera lights, softboxes, professional lenses in a wide range of focal lengths, lens filters, etc...

I don't have favourite hobby anymore. I do things that interest me any day that I feel like doing it. I love reading, swimming and even watching movies. These are what I can do anytime and any day.
Being retired, I kind of have the same sentiment towards hobbies.

But, I still do some things more than others, such as photography.

The more you list your hobbies, the more you feel sentiment on them. It's better to go with the flow and anything you feel that you want to do that moment, go ahead and have the fun.

Hobbies are seen that way. Listing them would eventually make you feel like you are limited to those sets of activities while you miss out on the ones that you really like.

I have two that I can't put over each other.

Hiking and Cycling.

I do both multiple days a week. In fact, those two activities have saved my life. About 10 years ago, I was in such bad shape that I wouldn't have even lived to see the pandemic. I'm shocked I didn't die back then.

Hiking and cycling got me out of that. It changed me in so many ways.

I mostly enjoy browsing forums and coding for the forum software I support. Coding makes me feel like I am proficient in something beneficial to others.

That's a true fact. As I have stopped listing them, I have my peace of mind. I can only do the ones that I feel like I'm interested on.
