A look back through time will make us remember our virtual pet games. The nostalgic feelings I get from Neopets remain the unmatched peak of my preferences. I devoted multiple hours to nurturing my virtual pets as well as exploring Neopia alongside playing games to earn Neopoints. What about you guys?
 
In my opinion, Tamagotchi takes the top spot. Back in the day, I persistently requested my parents to buy me a Tamagotchi digital pet and I remembered spending countless hours caring for it by feeding it and playing with it.
 
I’d say Neopets is one of the most nostalgic pet games. It’s been around for the longest and brings back a lot of memories for a lot of people. I remember when I played it in my early teens. It set the tone for my later years and shaped me into the person that I am today. Without Neopets, I probably wouldn’t have created VPL.

Besides Tamagotchi’s, Furbies and Pokemon, Neopets actually started my love and passion for virtual pets.

That's a very good point and I'm so glad that neopet inspired you to create this great forum. In all ramifications, neopet stood out amongst other virtual pets sites as it sets the tone in the genre. I remember spending countless hours exploring Neopia, caring for my pets and accumulating Neopoints. That being said, I also have wonderful memories with Tamagotchi and Digimon. They are other pet games that bring back old memories.

I completely understand. Neopets was a huge part of my childhood as well. I spent so much time caring for my pets and exploring Neopia. Those memories are really special! Trading, playing games, and making friends online were so much fun.
 
Another virtual pet site where I spent hours on back in the day was Subeta. There were the custom avatars, the huge range of pets, and the complicated storyline that gave me a truly complete experience.
