How much do you save monthly?

Do you have a habit of saving money? I know a lot of people who are not good at saving money. They are always finding themselves in debt every now and then. I try as much as possible to save at least 20% of all my monthly earnings.

How much money do you make effort to save every month?

I can't save money because I live on a fixed income and there is no money to save. But if I had extra money, I would do what you do and save 20%.

I'm trying to set aside some each month for paying debts and savings. It's a first for me. I'm really not into saving. Anyway, what I set aside is around 200 USD.

If you make more money, it's going to be easy for you to save more. Try and expand your streams of income. This will boost your chances of making more money and saving too.

Due to the cost of living, as much as I can put away some money each month, it is not as much as it used to be. I long for the days when prices are lower and I can start saving more each month again.

I don't think we are ever going to see that because the price of everything keeps going up and not down. Seems like every time I go to the grocery store there is a price increase on something.

I'm trying as much as possible to save at least 20% to 30% of my earnings every month. There are some months when I don't save much because of having too much expenses to pay for.
Adding more streams of income to your earning is the only solution to this your situation. If you earn more, you can be able to save more.

I try to save anywhere from 15 to 20% based on the expenses incurred in a given month. I have found that automating the transfer of money right after the payday to a savings account really works wonders.
