How do you handle rude clients?

I would be respectful and talk to them in a manner that would calm them down. I am pretty good at defusing bad situations.
 
It is not too often you run into someone who can be rude, but it is always possible for this to happen.

I have not been in such a situation regarding graphics but I have been in a similar situation before and I find that talking to someone and reasoning with them is the best approach rather than getting angry with them and making the problem worse.

There are some clients that after talking to them in calm and respectful manner, they still insist in pissing you off, it's more like pushing you to the wall. Are you saying that you will still be calm and respectful in that situation than telling them off with anger?
 
I'd have to work in retail, some of the entitled customers I've seen down the years have been absolutely horrible to staff members. I once nearly got into a fight sticking up for a staff member haha
