I’ve yet to experience the mountains, but I hope to visit and explore them one day. The beach is nice and relaxing; however, I haven’t been in a while.
I prefer city life, though, as I’ve lived in the city for most of my life and have grown accustomed to it.

Sure! The city life sounds very amazing. I can see why you'd love it. For me, the mountains offer a sense of adventure and it helps me connection with nature. But hey, I also like the city life as well.

I've been to the beach a couple of times with my woman, and trust me, that is a great place to have some relaxation. Going to the beach brings me this peace of mind that all is well, which helps me to focus on becoming a better person daily.

I'm a huge fan of nature. I'm already bored and tired of city life. It's why I will have mountains and beaches.

I live in a beach city.
However, the beach is only about 200 meters and is now gross because they built a highway over it.
But, I'd prefer a night out in the city over a day at the beach.

If the beach isn't taken care of, there's no way you would have any interest in being there. I wouldn't either.

The beach (sand) and water is well-maintained. No trash, pollution, etc.
It's just that it used to be 200 sprawling meters of ocean front as far as you can see (to the sea barrier).
However, to alleviate congestion, they needed to put a bypass from the airport to the middle of the city. The bypass bridge is about 50 meters out into the water, where you typically wouldn't go anyway because it's outside of the jellyfish netted area.
That said, it ruined the view and added slight noise pollution.
It's still a hot spot to visit, but, having been here pre-bypass and post-bypass, it's no longer my #1 spot.

Damn, now I understand it very well. What they did with it is surely going to dip one's interest in being there. Also, with the noise pollution, that sucks.

Yeah, it's mainly a local's spot now. But, the masses don't stay after sunset because the bridge blocks it.
They couldn't have made it higher. 🙄

I am always in love with city life but my retirement will be at a rural area. I have passed some mountains from traveling, some that I climb while some I will just wave and pass. I haven't been at a beach before but I will give it a try when I am ready.
