Do you adopt pets or create new ones?

Whenever you add a new pet whether it's on Neopets or another site. Do you use the adoption agency/pound if they have one or create a new one from scratch?

I'm not very found of user run adoption agencies.

I generally create my own pets on every pet site that I play.

I’ll only adopt a pet from the pound if there’s a specific pet that I really want, but I’m not a huge fan of having names on my pets that I didn’t create myself.

I'm kind of both, honestly. I like making my own pets, although if I see a pet that catches my attention, I'll adopt it.

I like building, and that is why I will always prefer creating my own games. It is simply how I would want to enjoy playing virtual pet games instead of adopting a pet.

What makes you decide when to adopt or create new ones? Is there a particular method that you get it done? Personally, I am always focused on building my virtual pets from the ground zero.
