There’s a lot more messaging apps around these days than there were a few years ago. So, what messaging apps do you like to use? What’s your preferred messaging app?

Do you you like to use Skype’s, facebook messenger, discord, twitter messenger, iMessage, android messenger, whatsApp, Signal, Viber or Slack? What’s your go to messenger app? What messenger app do you think is the best one out there?

I only care for 2 messengers, the Android app, and Facebook Messenger. Having said that, I hate texting and I do it as little as possible. I would much rather talk on the phone.

Discord and WhatsApp have been my favourite chatting apps. I tend to feel more relaxed using both apps to handle my daily interactions with friends and family members.

Every social media have their own uniqueness. I normally make use of WhatsApp, Facebook, twitter, discord or slack. But I haven't found any more comfortable the way Facebook and Twitter has been for me. I prefer Facebook messenger as my favour messaging app.
I used to love using Facebook messenger to chat until I started getting so many chat request from random people who bug me with online begging. I had to leave it totally.

WhatsApp and Discord. I started using Discord recently. I don't have many friends on the chat messenger but so many of my friends are on WhatsApp.
I’ve recently started using Discord as well. I like it so far, but I still prefer to use Facebook messenger as the notifications are better.

Usually, when random people that aren’t my friends on facebook message me, their messages go to a hidden inbox and I have to approve their messages. I don’t see their messages unless I check that inbox.

I have my push notifications enabled on Discord, it helps me get all my notifications the same way it comes on Facebook messenger. Even with the messages from unknown people being in a pending note for me to approve, I still get the notification about someone wanting to send me a message.

I originally started using Discord for Pokemon GO-related stuff in my city. But now I use it for communication with my best online friend, my community, and just a handful of other means. I've always really admired all the options and organization of it all.

My preferred messaging apps would have to be WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram. They are the 3 I use the most.

Instagram is something that I make use of for mostly business purposes. I can't remember the last time I had a normal social conversation in chat with someone on Instagram.
Instagram is not for chatting purpose. It's either you are promoting your business there or you are enjoying the beautiful scenery of nature or you are watching contents from influencers.

Same here. I hardly use Instagram these days, especially for chatting with anyone through direct messages. I’ve even deactivated notifications for Instagram’s messenger. However, I still keep my notifications on for Facebook Messenger.

It's Threads that I want to get rid of but unfortunately that's not possible because once it's linked to your Instagram account when creating an app on Threads, it can't be deleted without deleting your Instagram.
