Are you currently running Windows 11 on your computer? I haven't made the upgrade yet on any of mine. My laptop is apparently compatible with the upgrade, but I'd like to hear your thoughts before I take the dive and upgrade in the future.

Yes, I'm on Windows 11 since it was available to get 😉 I only waited two or so weeks after it was out and I did an upgrade but then should do a clean install.

I have it, and it does what it needs to do.

For those not wanting to leave Windows 10, you have until 2025 before Microsoft drops support for it.
I do agree with that too though.
The support goes through too 2025 so no rush to upgrade.

Tbh 2 years can fly by pretty fast, but it's more so as a warning for people who hate upgrading Windows. So they only have 2 years to cling onto it before they won't get security updates.

This happens every Windows release.

Since making this thread, I now own a new gaming PC that's running 11 and I like it so far. I don't know if I'll get around to updating my laptop though, since I mainly just use my desktop now. xD
that's okay if you dont ever use the laptop anymore but it is cool to have it still in case you just wanted to lay in bed while being sick, you always have it with you whenever you need

that's amazing to hear 🙂
I love Windows 11 personally I got it on my desktop and it works great!
Windows 10 isn't terrible though and still runs perfectly for 2023 standards though.

I'd say anything Windows 7 and below might start to get outdated but it's always good to look back on past OS.

They don’t get security updates anymore, so any new vulnerabilities/malware won’t get patches or updates, but if it’s not connected to the internet, it’s completely safe to use.
