Ever run into a game or genre that everyone seems to love, but you just don’t get the hype? Maybe you’ve given it a shot, or maybe you haven’t, but for whatever reason, it just doesn’t click with you.

For me, it’s city-building games. I’ve tried, but managing resources, traffic flow, and all those tiny details feels more like work than fun. I get why people love them, but they just don’t do it for me.

What about you? Any games or genres that feel like they’re speaking a whole different language?

I never could get into point and click games, I know Snatcher is a great game but I could never play it but I can watch other people play it though. I also don't really care for real time strategy games either.

Real time strategy games don't click with me. It feels like a chore, coupled with the fact that you need to be very fast to win. I don't want to be under pressure when gaming.

I find music and singing games very awkward. Maybe it's because I hate singing in real life. I don't have any issues listening to music but never going to sing or dance.

I have tried playing various genres and one of the games that does not appeal to me much is sports related games. I also do not like simulator games

This is not peculiar to you. I have also noticed that several people don't really like sports games but for me, it's one of my favourite genres. I also don't like horror games as well.

Strategy games, to me, just do not resonate. I have tried playing quite some games, including Civilization and Starcraft, still, I find myself getting stuck with their complexity and micromanagement. Games with more casual controls and greater focus on stories are what I prefer. I am always up for a good RPG or adventure games.

For me, it's fighting games. I've tried playing popular titles like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, but I just can't seem to get into them. The fast-paced action and the combos always overwhelm me.

I normally play games that have a story line of some kind 9 times out of 10. On a rare occasion, I will play Mario Kart or something like that which gives me a break from the different story lines that have going from the different games.

But anyway, I don't normally do games that don't have some kind of story line of some kind.

I don't like playing simulation games so much but I really enjoyed playing Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. With that being said, I don't really if I should say that I don't like the genre completely?
Wow, I wasn't even thinking in that direction. Same with me! I don't seem to go well with simulation games. Though, I've played a few of them and they are quite engaging but it is not just my kind of game.

I have always been fascinated with flying, that's why I took to playing Microsoft Flight Simulator with so much ease.
