Those days it wasn’t easy to do anything online. Especially if someone called your house phone and you lost internet connection.🤦🏿♂️Oh WOW, AOL I remember when it was popular and everyone had dialup and was on AOL. 56k modem LOL omg how did we survive lol? 😀
I had the same experience with my first Yahoo mail account which I tried everything possible to retrieve the account but it was not successful. I had to open another Gmail account with the same details I used to open the Yahoo mail account.I was using yahoo mail about some years ago but I lost my login details which I couldn't retrieve, it prompt me to open another account and I decided to check Gmail account and see how they works. And since I started using them, I haven't seen any reason to complain because it's serving me well. I have like 2 different Gmail accounts now though one is for my work and the other is for my personal and school stuffs.
Facts. I had so many of them when I was still using it often. The ads comes in the app like crazy.Yahoo has a lot of spam. Well it did a while back.
I consider anyone who's still making use of Yahoo mail to be purely old school. The spams coming from their mail is unbearable.Yahoo has a lot of spam. Well it did a while back.
You should better call me old already because I still have one account with them and I don't think I'd be getting rid of it until it's no longer working 😂I consider anyone who's still making use of Yahoo mail to be purely old school. The spams coming from their mail is unbearable.
Old Papa Heatman 😂. As long as the mail is still working, you don't have to get rid of it. If you still have contacts reaching you through it, keep using it.You should better call me old already because I still have one account with them and I don't think I'd be getting rid of it until it's no longer working 😂
I’ve heard that it still does. I’ve seen many people on social media discussing their Yahoo email accounts and the large amount of spam they receive. Yahoo should implement better spam protection tools for its users.Yahoo has a lot of spam. Well it did a while back.

It's not difficult for Yahoo to implement better spam protection tools for their users but they're not interested in doing it.Yahoo should implement better spam protection tools for its users.
It might be as Yahoo isn't owned by the same company as it used to be owned by. They've been sold off multiple times over the years. They recently just sold one of the media properties Techcrunch to another company a few days ago. I'm surprised that Yahoo's mail is still actively running and hasn't been sold off. It's not difficult for Yahoo to implement better spam protection tools for their users but they're not interested in doing it.
It's very clear Apollo Global Management is into email service flipping business. I hope they sell it sooner if they are not going to pay attention to improving it.It might be as Yahoo isn't owned by the same company as it used to be owned by. Their current owner could possibly just have it for its media properties and ad network money & user base.
It is actually owned 90% owned by Apollo Global Management and 10% by Verizon. They're an American asset management firm that primarily invests in alternative assets, so basically they're just holding onto Yahoo until another major buyer wants it. Which, would more than likely include Yahoo's user base as well if that company wants that too.
This is a fact! The day Gmail tries that kind of nonsense with their own app, I will end using it immediately without thinking twice.I don't think anyone would be so happy about receiving a lot of spam emails on their accounts. If Yahoo doesn't fix that, more users will see that as a reason to migrate to another email service provider.
