A lot of people have an issue with this software, and it seems to be the least popular among the major brands, but is this attitude justified? Myself, I have seen a few VB forums lately and I saw no problem with them, but I have visited ones in the past where there always some problem.

What VB forums have you seen? Have you been an admin of any VB forum? How would you compare it to other forum software? What mods and themes do you like?

Years ago when I first started creating forums, the first premium software I used was vBulletin and I loved it back then, it was my favourite forum software. I am not sure why many have an issue with vBulletin now but I am sure they have their reasons.

it was good till Xenforo took over.
Well, the former lead developers of vBulletin, Kier Darby and Mike Sullivan are the ones that started Xenforo.

Once they left vBullletin, the software wasn’t exactly the same as it was in the past. They’re finally making strides now, but it took them many years to do so.

I used it for many years prior to switching to Xenforo. It was my favorite forum software.

During the time I managed a vBulletin forum it proved to be reliable despite facing occasional minor issues. VBulletin is so complicated when it comes to customization because its not so easy to understand.

I have never used VB as a forum owner or forum manager but I have used as a user on multiple forums and I think it is good.

This is new information for me.
