Research has retired the use of generational labels, Your thoughts?

I think it's dumb to be blaming an entire generation for issues that have been popping up here and there in the world. You can't group everyone together by generation, there's good and bad in every single generation. Things are constantly changing in the world, and yes Generation Alpha is going to grow up in a world that's completely different from the world us Millennials and Gen Zers grew up in. Funny that most people who blame us Millennials and Gen Zers for everything are Boomers and Gen Xers, you know the generation our parents grew up in. Like you guys raised us to be the way we are though lol.

What I find funny is people say "Don't blame someone's star sign for their bad behavior" then they go and blame an entire generation of people for bad behavior that will never make sense to me,
Sure both are fun but there's more to a human being such as their DNA.

I was born in 1995 so I can claim to be a Millenial or Gen Z I'm right on the cusp but since PEW has retired that might make me more towards gen z now.

Some parts of these generations make sense, as they do have general experiences growing up based on economic, technological, or cultural events. I think those on the borderline are the ones where it gets wonky.

Something associated with millennials I find strange is saying we grew up with cell phones and internet, but a lot of us spent a good chunk of our lives without them. They existed in the 90’s, but weren’t widespread until the 2000’s because it was prohibitively expensive.

Facts
I was born 1995 and I’m a 2000s kid(childhood) I don’t relate to millennials at all or remember the 90s yet pew definition grouped me with them.

Jean Twenge or McCrindle have the most logical definitions imo.
