Remembering Old Sites

I was a kid when Neopets became huge. I also had accounts on Kiropets, Ettapets and others. I really really loved Kiropets and it was hard to watch the 'active user' count go lower and lower over time. I wish Ettapets could have lasted longer. It was such a cool project back then! Zetapets was also awesome. I was really excited for the new website, which never came to fruition as far as I remember. I'm curious if anyone else has memories of those websites or others I didn't list.

The feeling of the nostalgia is so real. I also wasted much time on it and I was also using account in Marapets and Subeta. Those virtual pet sites were so much fun.

Neopets was one of the virtual pet sites that made me understand what virtual pets are all about. It's a nice sweet memory that I am not going to forget in a hurry.

Kiropets was fun to play, and I really miss it. I know the owner started Teripets after selling Kiropets to Impulse Communications, which led to fewer updates compared to when Chris owned it.



Other pet sites I miss that are no longer around include PetGamer, Monopets, ChibiFriends, Nutrinopets, Venetopia, Pet Adoptables, Boopets, Verpets, NeuroGalaxy, and Cyopets.




I also miss Zetapets. Their baby pets concept was quite unique, especially how it took some time for them to morph into their adult form.
