JellyNeo, one of Neopets fansites has released its newly revamped layout.
Welcome to our new layout! I'd like to thank everyone who took the opportunity to help test out this new layout over the past 4 weeks. We've been busy making a bunch of tweaks here and there based on your feedback. And we'll continue doing that over the coming months as we settle in!
That said, this layout isn't "new" per se—it now matches many of our other departments, like the item database and Book of Ages. We want Jellyneo to have a consistent and familiar look no matter what page you're visiting us on. (You're next, Battlepedia!)
If you're seeing this layout for the first time and didn't get to try it out, here's a rundown on what's new:
New Homepage!
We've taken out some of the clutter from our old homepage and prioritized our headlining content. News posts are now closer to the top, our sidebar starts off with the current Neopian events, and we feature a list of recent news posts for you to catch up on.
Account Avatars
Comments on our news posts now have avatars! Check out the comments on this post to see them in action. And make sure you set your avatar.
New Neocash Hub
We've centralized all of our NC Mall coverage into one spot on the Neocash Hub. We also added a link in our top navigation. Something we probably should have done for our NC fans awhile back!
Alerts Hub
All of our Neopets alerts can now be found in the top navigation—look for the bell icon. It will ring when there's something wanting your attention!
Our alert system now handles over a hundred different Neopian events, it's not just for the Snowager or Turmaculus anymore.
Theme Switcher Returns
You can now choose a site theme, and have it apply across all of Jellyneo's sites! Look for the theme switcher in the footer of any page. We're still working on adding a few more, so let us know what your favorites from the old site were in the comments.
