Infinity Nikki Hits $16 Million in First-Month Player Spending
Infinity Nikki, the dress-up adventure game from Infold Games, achieved $16 million in gross player spending within its first month on mobile platforms. According to estimates from AppMagic, the majority of this revenue—$10.1 million, or 63%—came from players in China. However, this figure likely underrepresents China’s total contribution, as AppMagic’s data only accounts for Google Play and App Store transactions, excluding alternative Android storefronts commonly used in the region. Additionally, as the first multiplatform title in the Nikki franchise, the game has also generated revenue from PC and console sales.
On mobile alone, Infinity Nikki reached its first $10 million in just 14 days and hit $16 million by January 3rd, the 30th day after launch. This milestone cements it as the most successful launch in the Nikki series, outperforming Love Nikki’s first-month revenue of $383,000 by over 40 times.
The game also significantly outshined Shining Nikki, which grossed $6.2 million globally during its first month in 2021. However, Infinity Nikki has not yet matched the earnings of Infold’s sci-fi dating game, Love and Deepspace, which grossed an impressive $46 million in its debut month last year.
Peaks and Declines in Daily Revenue
Infinity Nikki’s daily revenue on mobile peaked on December 6th, just one day after its launch, at $1.1 million. While it hasn’t reached that figure again, the game still managed to generate $787,000 on December 18th, marking the end of its second week.
Revenue began declining more rapidly after December 18th, falling below $500,000 on December 21st and hitting a low of $141,000 on December 26th.
After the release of their Version of 1.1 update, The game experienced a rebound in daily revenue following the release of its Version 1.1 update on December 30th. Earnings jumped to $665,000 that day—nearly triple the $234,000 recorded on December 29th.
The update, titled Shooting Star Season, introduced new storylines, platforming challenges, and celebratory events to mark the New Year. It also added unique seasonal content, such as the Starfall Radiance and Wings of Wishes outfits, available through limited-time gacha banners. Other highlights included shooting stars in the night sky to enhance the game’s cozy ambiance and various in-game rewards.
Looking Ahead
By the end of its first month, Infinity Nikki surpassed the $15 million milestone. However, daily player spending has since fallen below $200,000. With current events and banners set to conclude on January 24th, the next significant revenue spike will likely coincide with the release of the game’s next major content update.
As Infinity Nikki continues to evolve, its strong start highlights the enduring appeal of the Nikki series and its potential to attract both long-time fans and new players across platforms.
