I wouldn't do anything differently. I believe people need to accept whatever they have done. However, for the future I would apply some life lessons I have learned. For one thing, I would be more self reliant because I had gotten too comfortable in my youth. The reason for that was because I came from this military family and my dad had spoiled us rotten. I can't blame him, though, cause he believed that's what a man was supposed to do. Well, he always had a comfortable place for me to live even if I fell on my face in other places, so I would always just come back.
Now, another big mistake was pursuing higher education while neglecting just going to work, even if doing fast food. Well, it boils down again to the comfortable life my father created for our family and even my mom had gotten spoiled.
I had the wrong direction in my youth and I wouldn't listen to advice, mainly due to pride, and I also had a disability so my family over-protected me.
Now, I did make a bold move in my 20s and taught English in South Korea, but the problem was that the schools paid the rent and utilities and the salary was high there, considering the hidden stuff, so I still didn't learn responsibility, so it continued the spoiled situation. Also, there was nothing clear on what I was supposed to do so my teaching was mostly a failure with a few classes and schools being a success.
