Howdy everyone,

My name is Shawn, and I found this place from a forum I run that isn't related to the niche. I love forums and want to keep supporting them, so I joined to see what it's all about. I've also known @cpvr for YEARS now on the internet.

I'm new to virtual pets but always interested in learning about different topics. As someone who helps people start their own blogs and communities, knowing about different topics can make advice even more worth something. So, I try to always be open to learning about something new to me.

I am 40, a male, and I live in Southern Illinois with my wife, stepdaughter, and two cats. I work in surveillance investigations for a casino. I also have many side-gigs. I'm an avid hiker, cyclist, and outdoorsman. Like I said, I love forums and blogging.

Welcome! Nice to have you here. I haven't been active in forums for some time but this place has been really welcoming and brings a lot of the nostalgia back. Blogging sounds really interesting I've never tried it before do you use a particular platform for it?

Would you like a 3rd? One of my cats developed a meowing habit of waking us up at 12 AM, 4 AM, 6 AM, and 7 AM just to get a pet. 🤣
