It is not uncommon to see people who have got some mouth odour and smell a bit off. When you get close to someone who is experiencing that, how do you end up telling them that they've got a mouth odour?

I either outright say it, depending on the person that is, or I'll discreetly hand them a mint/gum to hopefully fix it.

It is not always easy to tell someone when they have bad breath or even bad odour but sometimes, it just has to be said.
I tend to just tell someone if they do as I would feel bad if I knew and didn't say anything to them.

I wouldn't just be disrespectful especially when I haven't told the person about before. If I did but he decided not to do anything about it, then I will throw caution to the wind.

Handing them a mint could be one of the ways that you can help them know what's going on. That's definitely being smart for sure.

Most guys wouldn't take offense about it but I'm not sure if it's going to be the same thing with women. They are so unpredictable.

I think it needs to be approached with care like saying something like, "Hey, I've noticed you have bad breath sometimes. I care about you and want to help. Maybe we could pick up some mints or gum together. This way, you're showing concern without being judgmental.
