Video calls isn't for me in any way. They make me so uncomfortable with causing me anxiety. Normally, I don't like calls that much but I'll have normal calls over video calls. Also, when I'm on a video call, I'll be forced to stop everything else I was doing to focus on the call which I find to be very annoying.

How do you feel about video calls?

I don't like video calls because I feel anxious anytime that someone calls me. There was this friend who loved calling me on video call because we ain't in the same state and when I explained to him that I have anxiety when answering video calls, he took it upon himself to help me adjust. Even though I became relaxed with him, it never stopped me from being anxious while on a video call with another person.

It's exactly the same way I feel about video calls. They are never something that I think I'm ever going to get used to. The kind of tension it puts me in is too much for me to deal with.

I don't mind video calls, I do video calls with my doctor every month, so I am used to it.

I prefer video calls over normal calls when I’m talking to my daughter or one of my nieces & nephews. However, if I’m talking to one of my buddies or another relative, then normal calls are my main preference.
As long as it is with my immediate family members, I wouldn't complain so much about making video call with them because I know it is not something I do frequently.

I prefer video calls for stuff like that too. Family and doctors are very important video calls. My wife talks to my 6-year-old grandson every day by video calls.

Sometimes, I'll be in the mood for video calls and sometimes I'm not. It depends on what mood the person who's calling video call caught me. But if we had discussed and agreed to it, I'll freely take the video call.

I am not a big fan of video calls at all. The only time I will agree to video calls is with friends and family I am close with.

I suffer from anxiety and social anxiety and video calls have never been something I have ever been comfortable with at all, I much prefer to use text when communicating with people when and where possible.

Just yesterday, someone called me on a video call, and my heart skipped immediately. Though it's not going to be easy but I am getting to manage the tension these days.

It was from someone I know but she was using a new number. I was a little bit shaken to answer the call. It take me some minutes to relax before I pick and know who that was. I nearly shouted at her in her DM before she explained who she was.
Personally, there is nothing that is going to make me to pick even an audio call of a number that I don't have saved in my contact. So, if I receive a video call from such number, I will not pick it and I will block the number immediately the call ended.

Yes, I know some of them don't know what it means to apply courtesy like taking permission before you call someone. I am the type that don't like video call unless I permit the person to call me. A new number supposed to be formal and ask for permission before calling. The person might be a client but it doesn't give him/her the upper hand to video call me without sending messages first.
