Ever had to quit work on day 1?

I know this might be rare, but I've read stories of people quitting work on the first day at work. I mean it, maybe because of a reason or another. When you get to quit work on day 1, what would you say was the reason for so?

I wouldn't take a job that I'm going to quit on day 1. If I do that, it means I never paid attention to the job I applied for.

If there are red flags that you wouldn't know until working, then yeah I would quit day 1.

Personally, I'm also agoraphobic so unfortunately, it is feasible that I bite off more than I can chew. That said, there was a time where I only worked one day at a job. I ended up getting incredibly sick on my second day (like probably should have gone to a hospital sick) and my boss had told me the day before to text her because she had like 7 kids and couldn't answer the phone. I ended up getting one digit wrong in the number I texted and she didn't text me until what would have been my third day, a couple days later. I explained the mistake and sent proof but apparently they had a no tolerance policy and fired me.

Thankfully no, and I hope I never get such a job as it would be a huge mistake to waste time to go after it and give up another job for.

I quit a job on the first day. I've done a lot labour jobs, and some of them were too hard to handle, and not worth minimum wage.

The fastest I've quit any job that I started is under 6 months. The job became toxic that it's impossible for me to keep on working.

For a job that I've gone for an interview and also discussed about the project and many other things, I don't think I can quit on day 1. If it ever happened, then it was poor judgement from me, to be honest.

I haven't been one that quit her job on the first day but I have read many stories about it from Facebook. One lady said she quit on the first day because the employer is a wicked person.

You might not know the reason until you start the work. I have seen people quit because what they are told before they start the work.

I've never had to on day 1.

I more or less got fired after 2 weeks on the job as a home construction worker. I was hired without experience and the boss knew it but they hired me anyway. I wasn't good at it back then. I was about 17 years old.
