Have you ever been unfortunate to be sacked from your job? What was the reason why they have you relived from your duty? Did you try to appeal your sack as something that was unjust or you accepted everything the way it was and moved on?

Being sacked from work can be an emotional trauma to anybody. It can cause shock, sadness, disappointment, and loss of self-esteem. I haven't experienced being sacked from work but I have a friend that was sacked from work because of what she didn't do and the company couldn't verify it. I know how she feels especially when she wasn't the culprit. I helped her with encouragement and support, we looked for another job and the latter was even better than the former job.

Being sacked from a job is not the end of the world, for as long as you have skill and potential, you can always be able to find another good job which might even pay you better than what you're used to earn from your previous workplace.

I have never been sacked before, but I have been laid off 3 times. Because work was slow, it's been 23 years since I last worked. I am on disability.

It's not about getting another job or having the skills and potential to get another job, it's about the feelings and emotions that will overwhelm the person in that moment of being sacked. It only take a strong person not to show the feelings out but it's really depressing to be sack from your working place especially when you did nothing.

I actually understand what you're trying to say but I always have a contingency plan in everything I do and I really hope other people do the same thing especially when it comes to their jobs.

Everybody ain't wired the same. Some people can stay a longer period of time wailing for their loss while people like you will just dust themselves immediately and forge ahead.

Nevertheless, they will be alright, it's just a matter of time.

As long as they are making effort to secure a new job, I believe that something will definitely pop up for them which is how things normally work for those we look for an opportunity.
