Does anyone here own a mac at all or have any interest in owning a mac? 😀
or should we just remove this section 👀

I've never actually owned a MAC but have used one at work, they're very good but i do prefer Windows if I'm being honest, just personal taste i guess.

I never owned a Mac, they're quite expensive. Plus since I'm a Sonic hacker, many tools weren't designed to run on Mac and only Windows since it's more common. :V

I don't understand why Apple overprices everything,
I own an iPhone but Windows is better imo if I had to choose between them just my opinion though ofc.

I own 5 (I have servers at home, don't judge me). I think it's more efficient than Windows, and it also has features that aren't locked away behind a paywall like Windows.

Nope, I don't own Mac. I have never wanted to have one, otherwise I would have by now. Generally, I'm not an Apple products fan until iPhone 14 Pro Max.

I got an iPhone but for computer I’m definitely more Windows personally.

For my mobile world I’m Apple.

Same here, i love Apple but I’m more of a Windows fan than mac🥹

No offence to Apple i’m sure mac do attract certain users though since they’re ot terrible either.
I just prefer to be on windows since it’s what I’m more comfortable being with and the layout of windows

My childhood is Windows so same,
Same reason we prefer iPhone over Android i guess, i like Android but still prefer iPhone since I’m use to its UI.
Speaking off android iv always been on that till I had an iPhone 8 Plus for my bday back in 2019 even tho I never ask for it and it was a huge upgrade for me since I never own an iPhone during my time back then. But owning an iPhone over the past 5 years has been pretty cool and really don’t mind it as nearly all my family is on it,
Ik you had similar experiences too.

Sameee here i went on iPhone in 2017 after being on Android since 2014.

We are basically the same family but yeah over here too we are all iPhone users so it helps texting wise with iMessage on both ends.

I never owned a Mac. I always liked the idea of their subscription free (well-paid upfront) content creation tools, but they never offered a replacement for Photoshop which defeated that whole idea.

They did, and it was called Aperture, but it got discontinued several years ago because it didn't catch on like Final Cut or Logic.

Sadly that happens but I believe they made the right decision personally.

Hmm, that is sad. I'm sure they didn't cut it lightly, but it really hurts paying extra for a Mac, just to need to pay for the same subscriptions needed on Windows anyway.

I mean, people do that with Adobe products all the time, and Office is moving that way.

That’s the annoyance with software that’s basically the industry standard going subscription mode. Adobe products and Office used to be one time fees.

Ya, it is pretty rough. But a lot of people don't seem to realize how much 10+ $20 subscriptions cost them a year.

It gets pretty crazy. If you spread the subscriptions out, it doesn’t hurt your wallet as much depending on your paycheck, but it’s still. You can also save money with the annual subscriptions usually.

You are honestly not wrong.
