Quitting video games

I have seen a grandpa playing video games at 65. It's funny but it's real. One good thing about games is that it keeps us young. Not only that, it sharpens our brains and makes us smarter. For that reason, I don't see a reason why you need to stop what you love doing.

You never have to stop playing games if that's one thing you enjoy. But, you do need to learn when to put down the controller.

Ask yourself things like, "Is this last 30 minutes worth it over studying for finals? Will my wife be happy seeing the dishes still dirty if she comes home and I'm still playing?"... etc.

You need to have a balance between games and life when you're more independent, like after you move out of your parent's, unless they make you do the life-learning chores.

No age, the only time I'll stop playing video games is when I'm on my death bed and at the end of my life! Don't know what age I will be, but needless to say I'll never stop playing video games.

Why do you think some one should shop playing video games at the certain age? I do not see a need to stop as long as your eyes and hands are in perfect shape and as long as you can enjoy playing

Yes, I agreed! Age is just a number because gaming has no expiration date. Majority of the pros are in their late 30s. The good part is that gaming keeps our mind active and it also helps in improving our reflexes.

There isn’t an age limit when it comes to playing video games. As long as you’re having fun, keep playing them.

However, if you start experiencing health issues that prevent you from playing, that might be a reason to consider stopping at a certain at a certain age.

Gaming is a lifelong hobby, no retirement. So far it keeps you happy, there's no reason to stop doing it. In my home country, there are retirement communities with gaming clubs. It's recommended for the seniors to play games to keep them mentally sharp and to socialize too.

There is no right age to stop playing games. Even seniors play games and they can be of help to them, in terms of improving memory and problem-solving skills.

Fixing an age where one can totally decide to stop playing games is rarely possible. Anyways, having lots of responsibilities on your hands can be a valid point to quit gaming and focus on handling those responsibilities.
