I recently watched this video of Alan Moore talking about writing, he says every writer should start with a moral platform. Basically, know what you stand for and why you’re writing in the first place.
He also talks about how writing is a form of magic, how words can shape how people think and feel.
Do you think writers need that kind of foundation, or should they just write and figure it out as they go?
