Nigel, proprietor of the General Store where you can sell your gathered items for currency
It's been a long time coming as we had to replace or fix most of the programming and layout that were originally created for the site because they were not up to par... but Aethria is back up on its feet. We're not quite to the point of having an official "grand re-opening" yet but the site is still alive and playable. All previously created accounts are still intact so please be sure to re-use your old account if you had one, and be aware we allow only one account. We are not releasing new rewards for quests, recycling, etc. until we're ready for that grand opening, so if you haven't collected the current items, it's a good time to do so! We ARE releasing new items simply for chatting in the Public House, so it's a good place go get your feet wet and get any questions answered.
What we have:
Three unique pet systems, including createable (custom demo) and fuseable (sort of like a breeding system), collectable, and growable pets.
A sampling of three different pet types - Khims, Inklings and Aethers
Three separate lands with different activities associated with them, including foraging, questing, crafting, growables, etc.
A rich pet decoration system with moveable and resizeable items and dynamic layering.
The usual suspects - forums, a chat room, user inventories, shops, marketplace, galleries, etc.
What is coming next:
Collections! This will be a major feature of the site and allow you to deposit nearly all site items into repeatable collections in order to gain trophies and rewards. Collections are already programmed and will be released as soon as I can catch up on making rewards for the initial collection tiers.
What else is coming:
Many improvements to the site UI.
Tweaks to the current Aether pet base layers to give them a bit more definition.
A generous welcome gift package available to all new and existing users that will include deco, growable items, and pet creation items.
Inventory improvements.
A better UI for creating doppels (duplicates) and fusions of the aether pets, to make that system easier to understand and use.
An index for khim pets so users can see all khims released on site.
A few other bits and bobs of cleanup here and there.
There are still some items in the cash shop from our original opening several years ago, but we are currently focusing on FREE content until we develop a strong player base again.

Staff are frequently active on the Discord server and in the Public House chat room on the site to answer questions. There is also an initial video tutorial in the Quickstart Guide under Help on site, and I'm happy to make more videos if people find them helpful.
Note: If you are returning to a previously created account, we suggest you switch to the new Night Sky layout, as that is the layout we're working on first. The original pale blue layout will be improved for visibility once we're finished fixing up the UI in general ^^.
