Meow Playground

Meow Playground is a unique browser based extension virtual pet game where you can adopt an desktop cat or dog and interact with other players. Will you be able to climb the ranks to become the most reputed pet in town?

Meow Playground isn’t like traditional virtual pet games, as its designed to live right in your browser, allowing you to care for your pet while browsing the web.

Your virtual companion will walk around your screen, talk to you, and keep busy, but don’t forget to feed and play with him! If neglected, Meow will get sad and let you know.



How to Play
Open Meow’s Popover Window
Click the Paw icon in the top right corner of your browser to access Meow’s controls.


Walking Meow will move around your screen randomly. Want him to stay put? Disable movement in the settings tab.

Petting
Hover over Meow for two seconds to start petting and keep him happy.


Feeding
Right-click Meow (or use a two-finger tap on Chromebook/Mac) to open the menu and select Feed.


Sad Meow
Neglect your pet, and he’ll get sad! Pet and feed him to improve happiness and hunger.


Sleeping
Meow will automatically sleep when he’s tired.
