Cryptocurrency vs Stock?

I’ve invested in both in the past. I put $19 in one stock a few years ago and made $80 from it. I kept the stock for about 4 months.

I haven’t made any profits from crypto currency though. I’m holding onto the ones that I have for the long term. However, I’ve only invested a few dollars into crypto.

Stocks and cryptocurrency are two different markets entirely with their own uniqueness, risk and the potential rewards but the stock market has been in existence for quite a long time and has a lot of established companies and regulatory frameworks. Cryptocurrency is relatively new but it is growing even faster than the sock market.

The cryptocurrency market has been manipulated a lot in the past few months, and that has made it difficult for anyone to make enough money from it. That being said, which cryptocurrencies did you have a stake on at the moment?
 
I have tried stocks and cryptocurrencies. Stocks have worked for me now and then but not for cryptocurrencies. i’m afraid to hold for a long time because of the massive fluctuations.

Cryptocurrency has a lot to do in terms of building confidence for investors and holders. I recently saw how the Om Cryptocurrency coin dipped heavily as the team holding 80 per cent of the coin sold. It makes it look like a scam.
