I have a very tight policy when it comes to secret. It's why I don't let anyone in on any of my secrets no matter who it is. There are those who doesn't understand what it means to keep a secret to remaining a secret.

Who else knows any secrets about you?
 
I tend to live pretty openly, and I’m not one to keep many secrets. I don't really do anything that requires a 'secretive' life, so to speak. That said, I do get where you're coming from. There are definitely things that should remain private, like personal details, family info, and things like your address or income. Those are things everyone should keep to themselves, no matter what.

I’m always careful of whom I share my secret. It is crucial to choose the right people with whom we share our secrets to so that we know they would keep things confidential.

The trick is to never share anything which can be used against you in the future by anyone.

People privy to your secrets will throw you under the bus if it suits them better in the future.

That I do agree with. But unless you’re doing things that are wrong in nature, there’s really nothing to worry about.

Which—I’m not. I also think it’s best to stay grounded when these types of situations come up, and let someone else speak for you when needed.

I am incredibly mindful of who I confide in. Confiding in the wrong people has brought me many problems. So,.I don't do it anymore..

I agree with you too but a secret can be anything. It doesn't have to be a bad thing. Take for instance, if you have a business secret which makes you success, it's better to keep it to yourself only. Someone having access to such information might screw you over, sell the information to your rivals for a little change. It's only your parents who genuinely wants you to be bigger and better than them in this life.

It’s important to protect your business with NDAs. They’re essential for keeping your ideas safe, especially when you're working with employees, freelancers, or partners. NDAs can help prevent people from leaking or selling your business secrets, whether intentionally or not.


However,, talking about your business publicly is a whole different thing. If you really believe your idea has the potential to be something big, sometimes it’s smarter to move in silence, at least until you’re ready to go public or have the right protections in place. Some things are just better kept private.


I’m with you on the family part too. I’ve always shared things with my parents, a few relatives, and close friends. I trust them and know they genuinely want to support me.

I believe we all keep our secrets. We keep some to ourselves and others to the people we trust. Having boundaries and protecting certain information is, in fact, natural. Sometimes, keeping secrets is holding one's own space or avoiding drama.

People just need to learn how to shut up and keep things to themselves only especially when the interest of whom they are going tell things isn't tied to that secret.
