Human beings are filled with regrets for so many things in their lives. This supports the notion "no human being is perfect". There's likey one or two things which one have done knowingly or by mistake which they regret dearly.

Ever done something which you regretted badly?
 
I have made many mistakes in my but I have no regrets. I am not a person who regrets. I always justify my actions as the need for the day. I don't cry over spilled milk
 
Some of the choices I have made that I regret have to do with holding onto toxic relationships. Another is not taking chances when the opportunity arises.

I asked a 19-year-old out when I was 29, and that was due to desperation. The difference in maturity level and the age gap is arguably so different that it was a regret on my behalf. Not to mention, I turned into a clingy, creeper around her.

We all miss opportunities sometimes, but new ones always come around, even if it takes a bit.

Holding onto toxic relationships tends to happens as well, especially when you’re hoping things will change. But realizing it and stepping away? That’s huge. Glad you made it through.

Having high expectations and assumption kills. It's why a lot of become crushed so bad because of having high hope things will be better with their partners instead of moving on.
 
When I was younger I had some toxic views on sexuality because I got bullied for being gay (I am actually Ace) and said some stupid things. Which why I apologized for acting like a "see you next tuesday" back on the old forum. I was young and lacks life experience.

There are times I compare myself to others and I regretted it because it can cause discontent. Also, I have learned to pick valuable lessons from such regrets and move forward.

I'm still living with the regret and guilt for not speaking up to my parents when I was being sexually abused by our house help when I was still a kid.

I don't like depending on people because having high expectations, especially from people, can lead to disappointment and that is what I regret doing in my life. Depending on people can be so devastating.
