Pettables: a new virtual pet in mixed reality is coming soon

Pettables is an upcoming virtual pet game that will use Mixed Reality as its foundation. It is currently in development for the Meta Quest 3/3s. The main concept is that you can have a virtual pet that interacts with you in your own home. The experience will be launched on the Meta Horizons Store once it is completed.


The developer has shared a few development log videos on his YouTube channel. In the latest progress report, the developer implemented an eating system, allowing the cat to eat and drink from a bowl.

Thanks guys! I'm the developer of Pettables (just found this forum). I'm glad you guys like the concept. I hope to make it a nice experience where one can just chill with a virtual pet for a bit, and also engage in some fun activities with the pet also. It's targeted at people that love pets, but due to circumstances can't have one. Maybe their apartment doesn't allow for pets, or maybe they don't want the responsibility of a real pet, or some other reason.

Certainly open to suggestions and feedback. Happy to be here with you all!
