Hi everyone. My name is Greg Squire, and I'm an indie game dev in the USA that has been focused on VR lately. I happened upon this forum when I was Googling about virtual pets and found that someone had posted about my devlog here on this forum.
(Thanks for that cpvr. I haven't really been doing any real marketing yet, so it's nice to see that the word is getting out organically)
Lately I have been working on a mixed-reality virtual pet experience (named "Pettables") off and on for about a year. Since I'm doing this in my spare time, the progress hasn't been as fast as I'd like it to be, but my goal is to get it in Early Access on the Meta store later this year. I have a long list of things I want to do with it, but I'm trying to focus on getting the "essentials" completed first. I'm certainly open to any suggestions and feedback on the project. Looking forward to be being a part of this wonderful community!
If you want to follow along with it's development, you can find my devlog in the link below. Thanks!
This could be huge, or a total flop because it's a crazy idea. I'm keeping an eye on this one. I'm wondering how smart it's gonna be.
