Hello!
We are a little over 3/4ths of the way done with our new Virtual Pet Site in the making Evarenity!
This magical adventure RPG virtual pet site is our passion project and with a wonderful team I know we will make it happen.

Some current updates on our progress and what we are going to be bringing to the community:
1. We are introducing a 2.5D adventure system! You can adventure along side your pets for an amazing experience. For those of you who have played Ragnarok Online it will
be that type of design for the adventure 🙂

I apologize if it's a bit early to ask this but, I was wondering if you already had a plan in place for naming pets?

I've noticed that when virtual pet sites are more "first come, first served" or give any kind of trophy/acknowledgement for being the first with a name, it can create a big rush to get those desirable name and words. The people lucky enough to play at the start tend to get the "best" stuff, and a big FOMO follows for everyone after that. I can only speak for myself but, I'm very tired of these systems and am hoping for a more open, less stressful experience.

Please don't take that as a dealbreaker for me, I would still play for sure and maybe the plan on that isn't finalized yet (or pending alpha results) - just curious. Hope your having a lovely week and can't wait to try this out c:

Hey no worries!
We are not doing a first come first serve basis on pet names as I do not like the idea of trying to mass buy up pets at the start to take a name someone else might want. We have other ways of making people able to specialize their pets in their own unique ways without making anyone else miss out. We will be having the ability to make your own custom pets as well as clothing/items to dress pets for those who are not able to design their pets directly. The only first come first serve is the username for your account I.E. if I picked Evarenity no one else could have that as their account username however, you will have an account username and an account display name so you could still use the name Evarenity to be displayed but the actual account username is special to each user.
I appreciate you asking your question and feel free to ask anymore you may have we are always open to discussing.
